Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy Pure Barre group classes that incorporate ballet-inspired movements, Pilates techniques, and body mechanics principles to maximize client results.
- Demonstrate proper exercise routines and techniques, providing clear guidance and modifications to accommodate varying fitness levels.
- Motivate and encourage participants throughout each class, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Ensure safety by monitoring form, technique, and physical cues; respond promptly to any client concerns or injuries with appropriate first aid or CPR procedures.
- Design class sequences that align with program goals, incorporating biomechanics knowledge for optimal body mechanics and injury prevention.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment; set up equipment and assist with class preparation as needed.
- Engage with clients to understand their fitness needs, provide personalized coaching tips, and promote ongoing participation in the program.
Qualifications
- Certified and Trained (on-site) for Pure Barre Classes through Pure Barre Corporate
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction, personal training, or coaching within the fitness industry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics essential for safe exercise demonstration and practice.
- Certification in CPR/AED is required; additional certifications such as yoga instruction, Pilates teaching, CrossFit coaching, or sports coaching are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients and foster a positive group environment.
- Physical fitness training experience with the ability to demonstrate exercises safely; comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary.
- Passion for health promotion combined with strong customer service skills to support client retention and satisfaction.
- Prior gym or health club experience is preferred; familiarity with program design for group classes is a plus.
