What you’ll bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Alaska (AK Licensure required)
- TYPE C Certification (must be obtained to qualify)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based OT services
- Preferred: Alaska certification and prior school OT experience
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Ability to organize a dynamic caseload and deliver both direct and consultative services effectively
Your responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on, student-centered occupational therapy to meet individual IEP goals
- Deliver in-person therapy at approximately 1000 minutes of student contact per week (about 16 hours)
- Assess, document, and track student progress and update plans as needed
- Develop individualized interventions and adapt materials or environments to enhance participation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and school policy
