Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
An Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems used in manufacturing, production, and industrial facilities. Pay is $28.00 per hour subject to an attendance bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system problems.
- Repair or replace defective machine components.
- Install, test, and calibrate machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Conduct equipment inspections and maintain maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and equipment failures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, conveyors, pumps, and control systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (100lbs), climb ladders, and work in industrial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Certifications in electrical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or safety training.
- Experience in manufacturing, or production facilities.
