Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness through thorough cleaning, sanitation, and table setting to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting food service staff during busy periods.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to transport supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Support food handling, food safety, and catering procedures to uphold health regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members through internal communication channels to coordinate tasks smoothly.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; restaurant or hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and proper handling techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with guests.
- Experience with table setting, serving, bussing, and general food industry operations.
- Familiarity with catering procedures and kitchen workflows is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently during busy weekend shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
