Our team is seeking energetic, dedicated and positive sales associates looking for long-term employment. As a cannabis sales associate, you will be expected to have excellent customer service skills and be willing to assist management with several tasks throughout your shift. Retail associates are responsible for having knowledge of the products on our shelves, helping and communicating with customers, handling sales transactions, and contributing to a positive environment for customers and our team.
Applicants should be able to communicate effectively, listen to and follow directions, and pay close attention to detail. Prior experience in retail and/or cannabis is preferred, but not required. Applicants should be prepared to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
Marijuana Worker Permit: Due to modifications to operations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, OLCC is experiencing worker permit application processing delays. Applicants must have an approved and active marijuana worker permit; or (until 5/2/2021) have taken the marijuana worker permit test and submitted their marijuana worker permit application in the NIC/OLCC system prior to working for a licensed OLCC recreational marijuana business.

Responsibilities:
Greeting customers, answering product related questions, completing sales transactions, and creating an excellent customer experience.
Contribute to maintaining a clean retail space and being proactive with daily activities, including but not limited to re-stocking sales product and retail store supplies, labeling and prepping products for the retail floor, and general cleaning.
Pay close attention to detail by following established policies and procedures, remaining complaint with current OLCC rules, and carrying a professional attitude and presence at all times.
Ability to learn quickly, including maintaining product knowledge, learning new product knowledge, using point of sale systems, accurately handing cash sales transactions, and following all regulations for verifying any paperwork, documentation, and identification for customers.
A cannabis retail associate should ideally:
Be punctual and reliable
Excel at customer service and interacting with people
Have the ability to be flexible and manage change in a variety of situations
Be self motivated, able to set goals, and handle a high paced work environment
Be respectful of all team members, customers, and management
