Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a part-time position with limited office hours, approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and will be set with the candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Assist coworkers in a professional manner
- Perform general clerical duties, including order placement, data entry, scanning, and filing documents
- Provide administrative support
Experience:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with message taking and distribution, clerical tasks, and front desk operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in Quickbooks Online is a plus
