■ General Responsibilities :
As a Cosmetics Research and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for cosmetics innovation and new product development. Your role includes creating formulations for color cosmetics, skincare products, and personal care cosmetics. You will generate ideas for products that meet customer preferences and develop the formulations accordingly. To achieve successful product development, you will collaborate closely with various departments and teams.
- Participate in formulation development to create innovative products.
- Independently brainstorm, plan, and execute the creation of new products.
- Maintain close relationships with various raw material suppliers to develop new formulations.
- Provide effective problem-solving support for customer inquiries, costs, and quality.
- Understand chemical substances and conduct experiments, analyses, and evaluations.
- Manage my schedule and carry out work reporting independently.
- Conduct meetings with sales, packaging, management, production teams, and customers as necessary.
- Conduct experiments for new product development based on customer briefs.
- Assume responsibility for the developed products and conduct assessments for stability and quality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
■Qualifications :
- Graduates and prospective graduates of a 4-year university majoring in Chemistry or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in Cosmetic R&D
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Bilingual in Korean and English
