At Jax Dog Drop, we’re not an average dog daycare, we’re a community built on safety, teamwork, and a genuine love for every dog that walks through our doors.
Our Bellevue store is located in the heart of Newport Hills off Coal Creek Parkway, our facility offers two spacious indoor playfloors and an outdoor play yard where dogs can safely play, make new friends and get fresh air.
Our Redmond store is tucked in the back of the Redmond shopping center off of Redmond Way. This facility offers four large play areas, and two outdoor areas for dogs to safely get fresh air.
We’re Growing Our Team!
We’re looking to add a full time Dog Handler who is reliable, confident, and loves working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. If you can handle cleaning, fur, and a whole lot of activity, this might just be your dream job.
- Available Roles: Full-time (32-40 hours a week)
- Shifts: Scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- Days: Weekdays and weekends
- Availability: Flexibility is key.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and engage with dog playgroups to ensure safe, positive interactions
- Monitor behavior, energy levels, social dynamics, and manage them as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Feeding dogs, crating for nap times, and extracurricular activities
- Professionally communicate clearly with clients and teammates regarding dog behavior
- Check dogs in/out and track daily routines on our system
What We’re Looking For:
- True dog lovers who value safety, structure, and positive play
- Team players who can also work independently and take initiative
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, stay on your feet for several hours at a time and able to step in between dogs if needed
- Available on weekends and holidays (holiday pay provided!)
- Basic dog handling knowledge or prior experience in animal care
- Consistency, reliability, flexibility, problem-solving, and clear communication are must-haves at Jax Dog Drop. Our environment moves fast, and our pack thrives on collaboration.
Compensation & Growth
Pay depends on experience and skill level. We value growth, performance-based raises are offered, and there’s always room to learn, develop, and move up within our team. After you have complemented your 90 day probationary period you are subject to a review, and will be given a raise based on your performance.
