Job Overview
Immediate opening for a fulltime parts assistant at a concrete pumping company in Groveland. Candidate will be assisting the parts manager by organizing and ordering parts, picking up parts, working with the mechanics retrieving parts from inventory, stocking and maintaining parts, organizing stock room, keeping the shop clean and organized, as well as performing other duties as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., have a valid Class E Driver's License with a clean driving record, be computer literate, have great communication skills, be motivated, punctual and professional. 2 to 3 years auto parts experience is required, DFWP, Pre-employment Drug Screening is Required.
Duties
- Assist in warehouse management, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track parts and inventory.
- Collaborate with team members on demand planning and supplier management to ensure timely product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory levels to facilitate efficient operations.
- Contribute to the overall organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- 2-3 years Auto Parts experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices and procedures.
- Valid Class E Driver's License with a clean Driving Record
- Experience with demand planning and supplier management is advantageous.
- Computer Literate for tracking inventory is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, be professional and show up on time.
