We are seeking an experienced Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, focusing on childhood development instruction, preschool activities, and toddler care.
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision and classroom management.
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes social skills, independence, and curiosity among children of various ages, including infants and toddlers.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong partnerships.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and first aid/CPR procedures.
- Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan age-appropriate activities that support early childhood education goals and accommodate children with special needs or disabilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment.
- Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and young children in a caring, patient manner while maintaining safety standards.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect is essential.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
