Pay Range: $80,000 - $150,000+ / year (Uncapped Commission & Performance Bonuses)

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Service & Upgrades: Diagnose, install, and upgrade residential electrical systems (lighting, panels, sub-panels, smart home tech, EV chargers, and whole-house surge protection).
- Troubleshoot: Quickly and safely diagnose complex electrical problems, shorts, and faults using standard testing equipment.
- Customer Connection: Educate homeowners on their options. You aren't just fixing a wire; you are presenting upfront repair options and pricing in a professional, consultative manner.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local KS/MO building standards.
- Tech-Savvy Tracking: Use company-provided tablets/technology to accurately log work orders and process customer payments.
- Team Rotation: Participate in a fair, shared on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
Required:
- Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License valid in Kansas and/or Missouri (highly preferred, or equivalent residential experience).
- Minimum 1+ years of verifiable experience specifically doing residential electrical service and customer-facing installations.
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record.
- Strong working knowledge of residential 120/240V systems, grounding, bonding, and NEC codes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and maneuver in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces).
- Strong communication skills—you must be comfortable speaking directly with homeowners and explaining technical issues simply.
Preferred (Plus):
- Experience installing EV chargers, home standby generators, or smart home automation.
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
