American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2 years of ED experience, active MA licensure, and AHA-only certifications.

65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and a dedicated Acute Mental Health area

Adult and pediatric patient population with approximately 230 visits per day

Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Night shift: 19:00–07:30 (36 hrs/week)

Every other weekend (EOW) required

Occasional day rotation (7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a) when requested; rotation frequency is low and the primary night position does not rotate

EMR: Epic ASAP

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted

AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required — AHA is the only accepted provider for this facility

TNCC and NRP certifications strongly preferred

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Proficiency in general ED skills including assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education

Epic ASAP EMR experience

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

2 professional references required for consideration

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care across a high-volume, pod-based ED serving adult and pediatric populations

Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced rate

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
