Professional Meters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plasma Cutter Operator to join our manufacturing team. We manufacture steel lids for water meter pit covers and are looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work in a safe and efficient environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut steel lids used for water meter pit covers.
- Read and follow production specifications.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with other shop duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience operating plasma cutting equipment is required.
- Background check required
- Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
