Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by BCBAs
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy services
- Collect and accurately record client data and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers, including Speech and Occupational Therapy teams
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines
Qualifications Required:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- If you do not have your RBT, we will help you get it!
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Ability to write a daily clinical service note within 24 hours of session completion.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Previous ABA experience
- Knowledge of ABA principles, behavioral health, and ethical clinical practices
- Collaborative, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and circulate for extended periods
- Ability to bend, squat, and sit on the floor frequently
- Ability to transition quickly between sitting and standing positions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to read written materials and observe client behaviors
- Ability to assist with toileting or diapering procedures
- Ability to hear, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Work Environment
- Work settings may include (faith based) school, clinic, office, community, and client home environments
- Regular interaction with parents, caregivers, community members, and outside service providers
- Moderate to high activity depending on client needs
- Exposure to individuals who may display physically aggressive, self-injurious, or socially challenging behaviors
- Ability and willingness to travel between client locations as assigned
