Are you looking for a fun, exciting and team to be a part of? Then this is for you! The Health Fiscal Services Team is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Fiscal team. As a team member of HFS, you will be at the center of all purchasing and payment preperation for the department. Senior Accounts Assistants in this position work with multiple divisions and programs within DHSS, developing skills and knowledge of governmental accounting in a fun, fast paced, team orientated enviornment.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
- Review requests for purchases.
- Prepare purchase orders using MissouriBuys and SAMII accounting systems.
- Process invoices for payment using MissouriBuys and SAMII accounting systems.
- Review documents for accuracy such as P-Card statements, purchase requests, vendor invoices.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
