In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream and other treats. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring that their experience is enjoyable from start to finish.
This role would allow for up to 25 hours per week, and sometimes more hours depending on business needs. Weekend availability is a must. You will not be considered for this position if there are certain days during the weekends you cannot work. Weekends are our absolute busiest days.
Pay rate from $10-$12 per hours PLUS tips.
Requirements:
-You must be a self starter and able to keep yourself busy while working alone or with other team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and friendly attitude
- Must be able to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Duties:
- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers with a friendly and positive attitude
-Making ice cream creations to order
- We also offer subs and pizza services. Candidate must be able to work in this area also.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operation of Jacob’s
- Other duties as assigned
