Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver snacks, drinks, and other products to assigned vending machine locations.
- Regularly inspect vending machines for proper operation, cleanliness, and stock levels; perform necessary maintenance or report issues promptly.
- Restock machines efficiently by accurately pricing items, managing inventory levels, and upselling additional products to maximize sales.
- Conduct routine route driving to ensure timely deliveries and maintain an organized schedule.
- Engage with customers courteously, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions professionally.
- Perform heavy lifting when restocking machines or handling supplies, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, sales transactions, inventory levels, and route activities for accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong math skills for accurate pricing, inventory management, and sales tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proven organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep detailed logs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently handle physical tasks throughout the day.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous; military experience in logistics or operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and merchandising techniques will set you up for success.
