What You’ll Do
Provide direct nursing care to students under RN/physician direction
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Support students with chronic health needs and daily care
Respond to minor injuries and health concerns
Assist with health documentation and recordkeeping
Collaborate with school staff and families
Basic Requirements
Active LPN license (state-specific)
Current CPR/BLS certification
High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years old
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
Willingness to complete school-based clearances
TB test (per district requirements)
Preferred Experience
Pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience
Familiarity with student health plans, IEPs, or 504 plans
Strong communication and documentation skills
Reliable, adaptable, and student-focused mindset
