Automotive Sales Associate (Part-Time)

We are a small, family-owned used car dealership looking for a dependable, professional individual to join our team part-time. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, vehicle handling, and sales support.
This is not a high-pressure commission-only sales environment. We value honesty, professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service above aggressive sales tactics.
We are looking for someone who wants long-term employment and takes pride in representing a small family business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them throughout the vehicle purchasing process.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, text, Facebook Marketplace, and online leads.
- Show vehicles and accompany customers on test drives.
- Safely move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot.
- Prepare and organize sales paperwork and customer documents.
- Keep the dealership and vehicle inventory presentable.
- Follow dealership policies and procedures with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Comfortable parking and moving vehicles in tight spaces.
- Basic automotive knowledge, including jump-starting a battery, opening the hood, checking basic vehicle components, and confidently operating various vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Stable work history preferred.
- Automotive or sales experience preferred.
Position Details
- Part-time (24 hours per week)
- Three days per week
- Day shift (9:30 AM–5:30 PM)
- $26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
