VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center is seeking a Surgical Liaison/Assistant to join our Team! VCA Katonah Bedford is a hybrid hospital and we offer multiple advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities such as CT.
What is a Surgical liaison/assistant? A Surgical liaison/assistant is the contact person and team driver who helps bridge the communication connection between the doctor and the client. The liaison will work to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner as well as maintaining a direct line of communication between the owner and the doctor. Their duties will include keeping the owner informed during every step, as well as maintaining communications with the front desk, technicians and primary veterinarian as needed. They will also give owners progress reports, fill prescriptions, answer phone calls for the doctor if unavailable, and help relay information to pet owners calling for advice or about their hospitalized pets. They may return phone calls as instructed by the clinician after getting appropriate information. At VCA Katonah Bedford, you can be the Surgical Liaison you have always wanted to be!

Range from $20-$28 / hour dependent on surgical experience/knowledge
