Job Summary
FitLabz Recovery & Performance is seeking a dynamic and motivated Certified Personal Trainer to join our high‑performance team. In this role, you will design personalized training programs, coach clients through structured workouts, and deliver a holistic approach that integrates wellness, nutrition guidance, and movement quality. You will conduct functional movement screens, interpret assessment results, and create programs that support long‑term health and performance.
As a key member of our facility, you will train clients 1:1 and in small groups of up to four, provide exceptional coaching, and help clients achieve meaningful results. Your professionalism, communication skills, and ability to adapt will contribute to a positive, energetic environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments, including Functional Movement Screens (FMS), to understand clients’ goals, limitations, and physical capabilities.
- Develop customized training programs that integrate strength, conditioning, mobility, recovery, wellness habits, and basic nutrition guidance.
- Lead engaging 1:1 and small‑group training sessions (up to 4 clients), ensuring proper technique, safety, and motivation throughout each workout.
- Coach clients through structured progressions, recovery strategies, and long‑term habit development.
- Educate clients on exercise technique, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices to support sustainable results.
- Perform client consultations using strong consultative sales skills to recommend appropriate programs and services.
- Support client retention through consistent communication, relationship‑building, and high‑quality coaching.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, assessments, and programming.
- Represent FitLabz with professionalism, strong communication, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Assist in creating a motivating, positive training environment for all members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a personal trainer or fitness coach in a gym, performance center, or health club environment.
- Strong understanding of functional movement, human physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Demonstrated ability to design effective, individualized fitness programs for diverse populations.
- Experience leading small‑group training or semi‑private sessions is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, educate, and adapt to different client needs.
- Familiarity with fitness sales strategies and the ability to confidently promote training services.
- Certification from a recognized organization (NASM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, etc.) required.
- CPR/AED certification required.
Pay: $18.00 - $75.00 per hour
