Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the setup and breakdown of events and shows across all offices, managing and working alongside your team of event staff, planning future event season, and collaborating closely with our Event & Visual Coordinator to ensure smooth and successful event execution.
This is a hands-on role—you’ll be working events directly with your team, setting the tone, leading by example, and making sure everything runs according to plan. Attention to detail is critical, as our events are a stepping stone to create sales leads for our sales team. These shows are used as a way to build community image, get involved, create relationships, and obtain leads.
Strong leadership, clear communication, and a team-first mindset are essential for success in this position. River Valley Remodelers emphasizes the importance of being team focused because this goes hand and hand with what we want our clients to see from us.
Responsibilities
- Booking events and scheduling them approprately into the calendar
- Coordinate when and where the show needs to be set up/teardown and by what time
- Planning out booth set up according to the space booked
- Schedule staff to work shows/events
- Set booths up to RVR standard
- Interact with potential customers at events
- Educate them on products we offer
- Set goals for your team each event/day of event
- Check in with your team throughout the event
- Enforce RVR standards for Show days for the staff
- Ensure team members are following timelines, standards, and expectations
- Provide a Collaborative, motivated, and professional team environment
- Go over goals post event to talk with teams about what went well and what didn’t
- Accurately track leads and report them back to home office in a 24 hour window
- Communicate with the Event & Visual Coordinator about Event updates, questions, event recaps, etc.
Experience Required
- Prior relevant work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other associates.
- Able to navigate internal systems on a phone
- Able to drive truck and enclosed trailer
- Valid Driver Licenses

Pay: From $46,800.00 per year
