Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately
- Culinary or food industry experience that enhances your understanding of food preparation and presentation is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
