The Role
We’re looking for a Carpenter’s Assistant who is eager to learn, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to build a long-term career in residential remodeling. Working alongside experienced carpenters, you’ll help bring high-end remodeling projects to life while developing your skills across all phases of construction. What You’ll Do
- Support Lead Carpenters and carpentry teams in delivering exceptional remodeling projects
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites that homeowners can feel comfortable living alongside
- Pick up, deliver, organize, and stock materials, tools, and supplies
- Assist with demolition, carpentry, and project tasks as needed throughout all phases of construction
- Help ensure projects stay efficient, organized, and moving forward
- Learn from experienced craftspeople while developing your skills in residential remodeling
- NOTE: This is not a pure, full-on carpentry position. Most of your time will be spent helping keep our projects organized and efficient through cleanup, material handling, deliveries, and general job site support. But you’ll also have opportunities to work alongside experienced carpenters and learn the trade firsthand. What We’re Looking For
- 1-2+ years of carpentry, construction, or related trade experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the residential remodeling industry
- Ability to follow direction while working independently when needed
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Growth mindset—passionate about personal and professional growth and always looking for opportunities to learn
- Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and tablets
- Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Valid license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug test
