Responsibilities
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
- Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before delivery.
- Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Support food service staff by replenishing supplies and assisting with food running duties during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery.
- Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, providing excellent in-person customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including food handling stations and service zones, adhering to food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper procedures.
- Familiarity with food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor for guest interactions.
- Experience with cleaning, bussing, and general restaurant operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
