Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist to join our team at Alight Behavioral Therapy in Jacksonville, NC. As a Registered Behavior Technician ABA Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations to children on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in their natural environments, implementing individualized behavior plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA therapy and autism treatment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, education, or special education
Familiarity with positive behavioral supports (PBS) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
