Manufacturing Technician – Precision Assembly

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support precision assembly and production of small, sensitive electronic and microelectronic components. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and experience working with delicate parts in a controlled manufacturing environment.
This position requires the ability to follow detailed work instructions, operate precision manufacturing equipment, perform visual inspections, and consistently meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision assembly and processing of small electronic and microelectronic components.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including bonding equipment, pick-and-place machines, epoxy dispensing equipment, and manual assembly tools.
- Handle delicate and sensitive materials using appropriate procedures and techniques.
- Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes and other inspection equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain consistent workmanship and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Work effectively in an ESD-controlled and/or cleanroom environment.
- Identify quality or process concerns and communicate them through the appropriate chain of command.
- Collaborate with engineers, trainers, supervisors, and other manufacturing personnel.
- Work independently while meeting daily production and quality objectives.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records using computer systems.
- Follow all safety, ESD, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, electronics assembly, or precision assembly.
- Experience handling small, delicate, or sensitive components.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions and standardized procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, or assembly documentation.
- Basic to proficient computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment or cleanroom.
- Experience using microscopes for detailed inspection or assembly.
- Experience with wire bonding, die bonding, pick-and-place equipment, epoxy dispensing, or similar precision manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with precision hand tools.
- Previous experience performing visual inspection or quality assurance activities.
- Experience working with electronic, semiconductor, microelectronic, or other highly sensitive components.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented, patient, dependable, and comfortable performing repetitive precision work. You should be able to maintain steady and deliberate movements while working with very small components and should take pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
