Wine Specialist
Indiana’s leading fine wine and spirits retailer is looking for an experienced, part time Wine & Spirits Specialist to join our sales team. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of domestic and imported wines & spirits, experience in a retail beverage environment, demonstrated sales experience and outstanding customer service skills.
The Wine & Spirits Specialist will be in charge of the floor to make sure products are on the shelves and stocked to sell.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional service and selling skills
- Maintain shelves to ensure both Spirits and Wines are filled and stocked
- Assist as a secondary cashier during busy times
- Creating signage for all products in the store using templates created
- Assist sales associates with stocking product on the shelves and floor, organized effectively to maximize sales and simplify customer shopping
- Analyze sales data and work to expand sales
- Resolve Customer problems and complaints
Qualifications 1-3 years wine & spirits sales experience
- Preferred CSW and/or CSS
- Knowledge of the wine & spirits industry
- Retail sales experience
- Available to work Monday Nights, Friday and Saturday Afternoon - Evening + Events
- Minimum High school education
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Effective problem solving skills
- Ability to make on-the-spot decisions in a stressful situation
