Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 + Benefits
A growing, privately held company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment and is looking for long-term career growth.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and customer billing
- Maintain the General Ledger and prepare journal entries
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and budget-to-actual reporting
- Track job costing, project budgets, inventory, and project profitability
- Process payroll and support employee benefits administration
- Partner with operations and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with process improvements and support the external CPA firm as needed
- 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Construction, project accounting, job costing, or inventory accounting experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting software required (Zoho Books is a plus)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- $70,000–$85,000 base salary
