POSITION SUMMARY:
The Truck Driver position is based out of our Harrisburg/Marysville locations. The position involves regional travel by driving our 2022 Kenworth T680 truck and 2019 Kenworth T880 dump truck to haul items/equipment for customers. The travel would be primarily on weekdays and occasional weekends as needed. The position would be hauling either loads or equipment but would be no-touch freight. The position pay is commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a CDL-A truck to transport goods and materials.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Utilize relevant equipment and follow proper procedures.
- Assist is maintenance service when needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a valid CDL-A license
- Proven experience in truck driving, experience with tractor-trailers a plus
- Familiarity with manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- DOT physical and drug screen
- Excellent safety record
- Assist with contracting loads
- Comfort working independently and following instructions
