A healthcare facility in Aurora, CO is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for an immediate contract assignment with a potential to convert to full-time. This role supports outpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient prescription processing and excellent patient service.
Location: Aurora, CO
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Assignment Length: 3 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, variable shifts between 7:45 AM and 6:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter prescriptions, patient data, and payer information into the electronic health record system
- Process and bill prescription insurance claims efficiently
- Fill and sell prescriptions while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines
- Stock, organize, and maintain pharmacy inventory
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally and resolve inquiries
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Lift items weighing up to 25 pounds when needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by pharmacy leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license
- Current PTCB certification
- Minimum of one year experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings
- Experience with Epic Willow system preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to superior customer service
- Flexibility to work variable weekday shifts
