Job Description:
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures
- Assess patient conditions and develop and implement nursing care plans
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Interprets, transcribes, and carries out the physician's orders
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of GA
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile procedures
- Ability to perform venipuncture, administer IV medications, and monitor IV therapy
- Triage experience to assess patient acuity levels and prioritize care
