Join Us as an Intake Coordinator
The Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating the smooth onboarding of patients into ABA services, acting as a crucial point of contact and ensuring all necessary information and paperwork are completed efficiently and accurately. This role will work alongside clinical staff and families to coordinate scheduling for proper case treatment plans.
What You'll Do:

Completing intake phone calls for new client referrals

Educating families about the services we provide

Verifying client insurance benefits to determine eligibility

Communicating with families their insurance benefits and financial obligations
-
Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software
-
Updating client availability for therapy
-
Input, update, and exercise discretion to modify client schedules as needed

Exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorization
-
Communicating all schedules changes with entire team including family, RBT, and BCBA
-
Use judgement in addressing concerns with filling schedules and any other client concerns
-
Inputting authorizations into EHR

Auditing all parts of EHR for accuracy and completeness
-
Evaluating staffing needs and communicating with team
-
Attending team meetings and communicating current needs

Identify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly based on client satisfaction feedback received

Use judgement in coordinating schedules of other professionals (SLP, OT, psychologist, social worker, etc.)

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.

Detail-oriented and organized.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Previous experience with intake/care coordination.
-
ABA experience is a plus!
Work Location & Hours:
This is a full time position that will be on-site in one of our New Jersey EI Centers (Princeton, Clark, Newark, Clifton). The core hours are 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, and the position is bonus eligible.
Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity. All offers are made in alignment with applicable federal and state laws.
