SUMMARY
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team supporting the production of precision components. This hands-on role involves operating a variety of production equipment, performing assembly work, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including automated machinery and robotic production systems.
- Set up and prepare machines for daily production activities.
- Assemble precision components according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Perform basic equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality.
- Prepare materials and components for production processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Identify and report equipment issues or workplace safety concerns.
- Assist with training team members on specialized production equipment as needed.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, or safety.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
- Support additional manufacturing projects and production activities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment or performing assembly work is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn multiple production processes.
- Experience using measuring instruments and performing quality inspections is a plus.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.
