Activities leader position details:
We are hiring for a Regular Part Time, 20 hours per week position. The scheduled hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 3pm, and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 9am - 3pm.
Activities leader job duties include:

Works with residents of the health center including skilled nursing and assisted living.
- Participates in community planning related to the interests of the residents and their needs.

Coordinates transportation for trips/outings when necessary.

Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the community.

Participates in resident/group council meetings when/if requested and provides support service to such councils.

Supervises programs as necessary.

Encourages residents to participate in program.

Activities leader qualifications:
- Experience in organizing, planning, promoting and directing cultural arts activities is preferred.
- Experience working with a geriatric population is preferred.
