Job Summary
We are seeking energetic part-time weekend drivers to handle Amazon block work, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced delivery operation, utilizing your driving skills and customer service expertise to make a positive impact on our customers’ experience.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries within designated routes.
- Drive route to deliver loaded and empty dry van trailers accurately and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service, while maintaining an outstanding level of professionalism.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of completed deliveries and any incidents during routes
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a must.
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially with courier or route driving roles, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is necessary, no restrictions on manual transmissions.
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding loading/unloading procedures
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends consistently in a part-time capacity
