Compassionate Connections Home Care is seeking an experienced Scheduling & Recruitment Manager to lead caregiver recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing workforce support.
This role is central to our agency’s success. You will help ensure we have qualified, dependable caregivers in place to meet client needs while serving as a primary point of contact for our caregiver team.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, confident under pressure, and experienced in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, assisted living, or a similar fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and orient caregiver candidates
- Build and maintain caregiver schedules for new and existing clients
- Fill open shifts, manage call-offs, and resolve scheduling issues quickly
- Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, location, and care needs
- Support caregivers while maintaining clear attendance and performance expectations
- Maintain caregiver records, credentials, availability, and required documentation
- Communicate staffing concerns and care-related issues to the appropriate team members
- Answer incoming office calls and assist with light front-office responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
- Two or more years of experience in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, assisted living, or a similar setting
- Experience with caregiver scheduling, recruitment, staffing, or workforce coordination
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, dependable professional who can work independently and make sound decisions
- Comfortable supporting employees while also holding them accountable
- Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and basic office software
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening
