American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Dialysis RN for a travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, with hemodialysis experience required and on-call responsibilities.

Inpatient pediatric dialysis unit within a 323-bed Magnet-designated, academic teaching, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital

Patient ratio of 1:1-2

Shifts are 3x12, days and nights

Every other weekend required, plus a minimum of 1-2 Saturday morning shifts per month for additional patient treatments
-
On-call required on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of 5 overnight on-call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekend 24-hour on-call shifts; staff will be utilized before travelers

No floating required

Charting via Cerner

Active DC RN license required; a pending license is acceptable at time of consideration, but a valid license must be in hand before the start date

Current BLS and PALS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent hemodialysis (HD) experience required

Pediatric experience preferred but not required

No background or license violations will be accepted

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract; if a full week of time off is taken, it must be made up

A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
