Rehab Tech
We are seeking an experienced rehab tech is a professional who helps our therapists in treating patients with a wide range of limitations. They work to improve the functional ability of the residents through advanced therapies and coordinated treatment plans. They often collaborate with other members of the therapy team to help patients with the recovery process.
This position offers completive pay and customizable benefit package.
Position summary:
Responsible for assisting in the patient care and administrative tasks of the Rehab clinic while under the supervision and direction of the Director of Rehab and any treating clinician.
Qualifications:
At a minimum hold a high school diploma and possess qualifications or training in a skilled healthcare setting.
Job Description:
- Cannot provide a skilled service
- Under the therapists’ supervision may set up and/or clean up a patient before or after treatment
- Responsible for patient set up and transportation to and from the therapy department. A Rehab Tech is not authorized to move the patient to and from the bed and/or wheelchair without documented training and competencies completed.
- Will assist the facility in maintaining the cleanliness, general maintenance and organization of the gym and rehab equipment
- Will employ and follow all appropriate facility infection control policies and procedures
- Responsible for the clerical and administrative duties, such as, computer work, copying, filing, and faxing of orders and papers as assigned
- Will always present her/himself in a professional manner including professional conduct, professional communication, and appropriate dress while in the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
The Rehab Tech to perform a variety of duties relative to the job. The performance of these activities would place the job of Rehabilitation Technician into a heavy category of work demand.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
