Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 36/48 Rotating Schedule | 36–48 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking LPN - Long Term Care (LTC) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Eureka, KS.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and comfort care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in PointClickCare EMR
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Support resident emotional well-being through compassionate care and communication
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Requirements
- Active Kansas LPN License required
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and patient care standards
- Ability to work night shifts and rotating schedules
- Experience with PointClickCare EMR preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a long-term care environment
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
