We are currently seeking a Bilingual Human Resources & Recruiting Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys recruiting, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce management.
What You'll Do
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates for temporary and direct-hire positions.
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent.
- Post job openings across job boards, social media, and recruiting platforms.
- Conduct reference checks and employment verifications.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Employee Onboarding & Compliance
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Complete employment documentation and I-9 verification.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Support workers' compensation and safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and company policies.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management.
- Assist with employee concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Promote employee engagement and retention programs.
- Conduct employee follow-up and performance discussions.
Administrative & HR Support
- Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and employee databases.
- Assist with payroll verification and timekeeping.
- Prepare HR reports and recruiting metrics.
- Coordinate employee training and safety programs.
- Support client staffing needs and workforce planning.
Required Qualifications
✅ Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or Staffing
✅ Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
✅ Experience with ATS, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Staffing agency experience strongly preferred
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or light industrial positions
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or related HR certification
- Experience with onboarding, workers' compensation, and safety compliance
