Avid Auto Detailing is looking for a serious Automotive Detailer who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to get paid based on performance.
This is not a basic car wash position. We are looking for someone who cares about the final result, moves with urgency, and understands that every vehicle leaving our shop represents our brand.
This role is best for someone who is confident in their skills, wants room to grow, and does not need to be micromanaged to produce clean, consistent work.
Work is performed in-house at our shop and on occasions in our mobile van.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality interior and exterior vehicle details
- Washing, decontaminating, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, waxing, dressing, and finishing vehicles properly
- Cleaning glass, wheels, tires, trim, door jambs, carpets, seats, panels, and all interior surfaces with strong attention to detail
- Applying protection products and final touches that improve the customer’s experience
- Inspecting your own work before delivery to make sure it meets Avid Auto Detailing standards
- Keeping the shop, van, tools, chemicals, and work area clean and organized
- Safely moving and handling customer vehicles
- Communicating professionally with the team and helping create a smooth customer experience
- Assisting with other shop-related tasks when needed

The ideal candidate has:
- Automotive detailing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in clean, consistent work
- The ability to move quickly without cutting corners
- A strong work ethic and the ability to stay productive without being babysat
- A professional attitude with customers and team members
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- The ability to safely operate customer vehicles
Big Plus If You Have Experience With
Experience in any of the following makes you a stronger candidate:
- Paint correction
- Machine polishing
- Ceramic coatings
- Paint Protection Film
- Window tint
- Vinyl wraps
- Headliner starlights
- Ambient lighting
- Other automotive appearance or restyling services
You do not need to be an expert in all of these. But if you have skills beyond basic detailing, there is room to grow with us.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with no cap.
Pay is based on the work you complete, the quality you produce, and the value you bring to the team. This is a strong fit for someone who wants to earn based on skill, speed, quality, and consistency.
We are looking for someone who wants more than just a clock-in, clock-out job. The right person can grow with the company and increase their income as their skill level and responsibility increase.

Base Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
