We are seeking a strong, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team and help drive the next phase of growth at 850 Degrees. This is not an office position — we are looking for a leader who thrives on the floor, connects with guests, supports the staff, and leads by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Our restaurant features a busy dining room, a large outdoor patio with live music throughout the summer months, and a loyal base of regular customers who expect an exceptional experience every time they walk through our doors.
We already have a strong foundation in both the front and back of the house. Now we need the right leader to elevate the operation even further.
Position Overview
The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations while maintaining a high standard of hospitality, team accountability, food quality, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives under pressure, and understands how to balance operational excellence with warm, personable guest interaction.
This is a full-time leadership position requiring a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment
- Be highly visible and hands-on during service by greeting guests, checking on tables, resolving issues, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Foster a positive, family-style culture among staff while maintaining accountability and professionalism
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop both front and back of house team members
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and service execution
- Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and shift operations
- Utilize Toast POS for daily operations, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively
- Help drive continuous improvement in service standards, operational systems, and overall guest experience
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to command respect while building strong team relationships
- Hands-on management style with a passion for hospitality and guest engagement
- Experience managing busy dining rooms and high-paced service periods
- Knowledge of liquor inventory management and ordering procedures
- Experience with Toast POS preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
