As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the vital link between our customers and technicians. You’ll greet clients, understand their vehicle concerns, schedule repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong communication skills, a good grasp of vehicle systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay will be based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Provide clear estimates, explain services and repairs, in a professional manner.
- Coordinate and dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level and availability.
- Monitor work progress to ensure timely completion and keep customers updated.
- Review completed work with customers and process payments.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Help manage workflow to optimize technician productivity and bay efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive service advisor.
- Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency with shop management software (e.g., RO Writer, Mitchell, Shop-Ware).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
