Assistant Manager - Little Caesars Pizza / Cedars Group
Position Type: Full-Time (30–35 hours per week)

Position Overview
The Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations by leading opening and closing shifts, maintaining operational and cash-handling standards, and supervising team members to ensure a consistent, safe, and positive guest experience. This role serves as a key holder and is accountable for shift-level performance, compliance, and communication with management regarding all operational or personnel-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Open and close the restaurant in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure all equipment and systems are powered on, operational, and functioning correctly
- Supervise team members and ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures
- Maintain appropriate dough, sheet-out stack, and pizza rack levels based on projections
- Verify merchandise deliveries against invoices and report discrepancies immediately
- Ensure all required preparation, cleaning, and sanitation tasks are completed to company standards
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching of team members using approved methods
Cash Handling & Accountability
- Count, verify, and assume responsibility for register drawers and safe at shift start
- Maintain full cash accountability throughout the shift
- Provide change to cashiers as needed
- Complete end-of-day (EOD) register closures in accordance with company policy
- Transfer safe accountability to the incoming manager during shift change
- Report cash shortages, overages, or discrepancies immediately to management
Reporting & Compliance
- Complete, verify, and upload all required daily paperwork and Daily Verification documentation
- Review management reports to support accurate forecasting and inventory control
- Complete all assigned Zenput tasks, including inventory counts and temperature logs
- Communicate all irregular incidents promptly, including:
- Equipment or facility issues
- Safety concerns or inspections
- Workplace injuries or employee incidents
- Attendance issues or staffing concerns
Closing & Security Duties
- Supervise completion of all closing duties
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, secure, and compliant at end of shift
- Secure the premises by locking doors and activating the alarm after all team members exit
- Serve as key holder for the facility
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 17 years (or as required by local regulations)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in food service or retail preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow company policies and operational standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and reconciliation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
