What You'll Do
- Perform overnight polysomnographic (PSG) sleep studies
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout testing
- Monitor sleep studies, recognize significant events, and accurately document findings
- Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with established protocols
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain sleep lab equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care
What We're Looking For
Required Certifications (one of the following):
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
- Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS)
AND one of the following:
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in Sleep Technology
- Successful completion of a Sleep Technology program associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational institution
- Equivalent education, experience, and documented competency required for the role
Additional Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience performing overnight sleep studies
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
