Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Deli Clerk to join our team. This position involves helping customers at the deli counter, preparing sandwiches, keeping products stocked and organized, and maintaining a clean work area.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers, can stay organized during busy periods, and is willing to learn. Previous deli or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers at the deli counter
- Slice meats and cheeses and prepare customer orders
- Make sandwiches and other prepared items to order
- Fill, stock, and maintain the deli salad case
- Package fresh bread into bags and prepare it for sale
- Keep the deli counter and work areas clean and organized
- Clean deli equipment, including slicers and other food-preparation equipment
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
- Help keep products stocked and ready for customers throughout the day
Qualifications
- Friendly and helpful with customers
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Willing to learn proper food handling and deli procedures
- Able to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Previous deli, grocery, restaurant, or food service experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
