Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing mobile outpatient team. In this role, you will work closely with a Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one care to geriatric patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them improve mobility, safety, and independence.
This is a Mobile Outpatient position under Medicare Part B.
This is a PRN position with potential to Part-Time.
Service area: Fairfield County (must be willing to travel to a minimum of three of the following towns: Shelton, Trumbull, Stratford, Fairfield, Westport, Bridgeport, Woodbridge, Milford, Derby).
Compensation:
$50–$55 per visit (4 units = 53 to 60 minutes) based on experience, availability, and flexibility.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises focused on strength, balance, and mobility
- Educate patients and families on safety and home exercise programs
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with geriatric population preferred
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Strong clinical documentation skills to support Medicare Part B requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut PTA license
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation required
- Professional liability insurance
