Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as our Director of Nursing, to lead and oversee our Resident Care programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while supporting the overall mission, goals, and standards of Paramount Senior Living. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with strong clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the facility’s Resident Care programs, including:
- Health and wellness
- Resident morale and engagement
- Cleanliness and grooming
- Safety and compliance
- Nutrition and nourishment
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to assigned care staff
- Ensure alignment of departmental objectives with the organization’s long-term strategy and mission
- Maintain a high standard of quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversee care delivery processes and evaluate patient outcomes
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff, families, and other stakeholders
- Support and monitor quality assurance initiatives within the department
- Respond appropriately and effectively in emergencies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience
- Prior administrative or supervisory experience in long-term care preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
