- Supervise the daily operations of the Medical Records department.

Lead, coach, and support Medical Records staff.

Maintain the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of patient health records.

Oversee medical record retention, release of information, and legal record requests.

Conduct medical record audits and monitor documentation quality.

Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to support accurate documentation and reimbursement.

Coordinate Hospice Face-to-Face encounter schedules and patient recertification tracking.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicare, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Develop and improve departmental workflows.
Location: Bryan, Texas

Requirements:
- Experience in medical records, health information management, or healthcare administration.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Hospice, home health, or post-acute care experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical record documentation.

Experience with Electronic Health Records systems and Microsoft Office.

Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
